The most rewarding part of my job is hearing directly from patients. I’ve heard them speak about how this is the best care they have received at any hospital.

Anxious mothers, animated babies, and amazed fathers. These are the groups of people I meet every day at North York General as part of my work. Caring for them and helping educate them, has been a part of my day-to-day life for the past 9 years. I am a nurse in the Maternal and Newborn unit.

Care for patients in the community. That is what I knew best about North York General Hospital (NYGH) before I started working here.
