ABOUT THE EVENT
Heart of Fashion, in support of North York General, is an exclusive event featuring the ultimate fusion of fashion,food, and entertainment. On October 19, 2024, we will welcome over 450 distinguished and diverse guests representing Canada’s top industries. If there is one thread that binds them, it’s their love of community and passion for North York General.
On the evening of the event, guests will walk the red carpet, savour culinary treats, dance on the catwalk and bid onone-of-a-kind auction items. Of course, the main feature will be our world-class fashion show that show cases legendary and upcoming designers.
For decades, North York General has been a centre of excellence, leading the way with our seamless care along the entire continuum for families and their newborns. NYGH has steadily grown to become the largest and most comprehensive maternal and newborn program at any community academic hospital in the province. Ultimately, weare here for every family that comes through our doors. We’ve made sure that families can choose their care, their way – we have midwives working alongside OBGYN’s and family physicians, an interdisciplinary practice that has made North York General a leader in care. Today, we are a chosen destination for nearly 4,600 births each year and supporting our community from conception to delivery, and beyond. But our exceptional care needs the space to match and that is why we are raising $1.2 million from Heart of Fashion for our next chapter to revitalize our maternal newborn program and Birthing Centre.
