We’re committed to giving expecting parents optimal care at every point in their birthing journey. And to continue with the high quality of care we’ve provided through over 300,000 births at our hospital, it’s time for our Labour & Delivery and Post-Partum units to go through their own rebirth. We are completely rebuilding the units into a reimagined, integrated Birthing Centre so private rooms are the standard; so bathrooms and doorways are fully accessible; and so family lounges honour cultural considerations. We’re designing a holistic environment that will be a Birthing Centre built for for every family and every community.
